Today, at Dreamforce 2023, Salesforce announced the Einstein 1 platform. This combines last year’s major announcement, Data Cloud (previously called Genie), and the new Einstein Copilot platform.
In addition, Salesforce are announcing free Data Cloud & Tableau licenses to kick off customers on their journey. Let’s take a look…
Free Data Cloud & Tableau Licenses
In exciting news for Trailblazers around the globe, Salesforce have announced free licenses of Data Cloud and Tableau for all customers who are on Sales and Service Cloud, Enterprise or Unlimited licenses.
This free package includes two free Tableau creator licenses, and Data Cloud licenses for up to 10,000 profiles.
Before today, Data Cloud may have remained a mystery for many Salesforce professionals unless they have explicitly worked on a direct implementation of Data Cloud, or a similar CDP.
This package massively eliminates the barrier to entry for both companies who wish to understand the power of Data Cloud, and Salesforce professionals who want to advance their career learning this new skillset.
Niche specialization skills are something we talk a lot about on SalesforceBen.com, so it’s great to hear both these platforms will be democratized!
Salesforce have also announced today that the Data Cloud platform is already processing 30 trillion transactions per month, and connecting and harmonizing 100 billion records every day. With Salesforce putting so much emphasis on this product, and integrating it into every part of their platform (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce etc.), it’s safe to say that Data Cloud skills will become highly in demand in the future.
Salesforce also perfectly timed the announcement of the Data Cloud Consultant certification last week. Meaning that Salesforce professionals can get hands-on experience using the Data Cloud platform before attempting the certification.
Summary
The Einstein 1 platform, combined with generous free licensing options and a dedicated certification, makes it easier than ever for Salesforce professionals to upskill.
There is no doubt that the Data Cloud is not just the future; it’s the present. So, whether you’re an existing Salesforce customer or a Salesforce pro looking to expand your skill set, now is the time to dive into this world of boundless possibilities.
